Wolfe Cutlery was created after years of consulting with professional cooks and chefs. They were asked what attributes would comprise their ideal knife. We were consistently told, “Great weight and balance”, “Holds a great edge and is easily maintained” and most importantly “Must be comfortable in the hand, even after hours of use”. Our focus has been providing those in the culinary industry with the tools they desire at a price most can afford. We are also excited for the non professional cooking enthusiasts to have access to professional grade tools.
X50CrMoV15 steel was chosen which is hard enough to maintain an excellent edge, but not so hard that it is brittle and prone to chipping or difficult to maintain for someone using their knives on a daily basis.
