Forged from carbon alloy German steel. A knife used for preparing most food; a general-purpose kitchen knife, usually 6 to 10 inches long with a blade curving upward along its length and ending in a narrow point.
Wölfe cutlery incorporates a G10 handle material. G10 is a synthetic knife handle material made to withstand the rigor of professional kitchens and the everyday use of the enthusiastic home cook.
For the blade steel, we chose X50CrMoV15, a German carbon alloy steel, which is hard enough to maintain an excellent edge but not so hard that it is brittle and prone to chipping or difficult to maintain for someone using their knives daily.
